This ceramic bowl features a drawing of a Ti Kouka or Cabbage Tree.  It is an elegant tree unique to New Zealand which is commonly found throughout wetlands, scrubland and along the coast in both the North and South Islands.  The leaves have many uses, including being woven in baskets and used medicinally.

Made from porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside. Each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid and an info card on the inside with information about Jo Luping and each pieces artwork.

These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
